An absolute classic! The whole family loves this book. Before having children I didn't know this book (I wasn't born in Australia) but it was so much fun discovering it and hearing my partner read it in his very Australian accent. Excellent book and great pictures

this book is funny because all the animals trick the dingo, I like how it has all the Australian animals in it.

Everly loved the songs that the Dingo sang.

A timeless favourite for many has become a household favourite for both myself and Aubree. Adding voices to the various outback characters and breaking out into song and dance every time a new (and questionable ingredient!!) was added to that ever evolving Wombat Stew resulted in a very enjoyable reading experience for everyone involved. I like the little song that is Wombat stew,Wombat stew,gooey,brewy,Yummy,chewy,Wombat stew! I like it because it`s funny.

I like wombat stew because of the part where the wombat got saved and the dingo got poisoned. I didn’t when the wombat almost got eaten. I learnt that you can trick people that are being nasty just like the dingo to the wombat so the other animals tried to help. I learnt Friendship is important and to love your friends and family. I liked that the Dingo made yucky stew, and it made him sick at the end

I give this book five stars because I love how they drew realistic Australian animals and also put clues of what animal is going to be on the next page.

I think the clever dingo is not so clever.Because he got tricked by the other animals.

One of our favourite books! Love all the animals, a fun read with a catchy tune and beautiful illustrations.

Its a great book about a clever mombat making a stew

Wombat stew is about a Dingo that made a Stew. The very clever dingo caught a wombat and he was going to make Wombat Stew all the animals came up to him and gave him some mud, bugs, creepy crawlers and feathers and poisoned him instead of telling him how to make Wombat Stew. My favourite part would be when they sing Wombat Stew and when the Dingo got poisoned. Show more Show less

It was so funny

I loved this book. It is so fun to read over and over again!

I think it is a great book but I also think it could have a bit more dramma

Once a upon a time there was a Dingo that caught a wombat he was deciding to make stew with wombats in it. Then other animals came and added what they thoughtshould go in the stew and then the Dingo was poisoned Yay the wombat is saved.

I liked the Koala and the animals were very smart for tricking the Dingo and saving the Wombat.

Great book, funny, loads of different animals

A dingo is very keen on getting a meal with a wombat in it but his friends tell him the wrong ingredients so at the end before he puts the wombat in he tries it but he gets poised.

The animals helped save the wombat from being eaten. The dingo ended up eating just vegetables in the stew. I loved it.

A fantastic story about a cunning dingo and his plans to make a wombat stew. The dingo is assisted along the way by other Australian animals on how to make his wombat stew taste better, or will it!

i like this book because its one of my mums fave books. i like all the animals and all the bugs and creepy crawlies. And the animals trick the dingo and he runs away

It made me laugh a little bit

i think that wombat had a great sip but it was poisonous and yucky.
